Hi, I’m Alexis Thornton, the hands and heart behind Textured Manes. I became a natural hairstylist because I saw a need. One that went beyond styling. Too many people with textured hair were dealing with breakage, scalp stress, and styles that didn’t honor their natural beauty. I knew there had to be a better way. So, I committed myself to learning techniques that protect the hair, respect the scalp, and promote long-term health and growth. As a stylist, I focus on low-tension, protective styles that allow your hair to thrive. As a wife, mother, and business owner, I understand how valuable your time, energy, and self-confidence are.
